I don't pretend we have all the answers.  But the questions are certainly worth thinking about.

In addition to writing fiction and non-fiction,  I'm also a leading generalist copywriter and website consultant.   If you're looking for information on my upcoming novel, The Hurricane Key, then you've come to the right place.  You can read about the plot and check out an excerpt from this work-in-progress by clicking here.

If you're a Los Angeles resident, you can apply to join my upcoming 2008 classes at Nic and Nora's famous LA Writers Group, which will be taking place in the San Fernando Valley.  In order to be considered you must submit a writing sample prior to attending the first meeting.  My workshop is for fiction and screenplays only.  No poetry, non-fiction, or journaling is accepted.

For authors interested in a more intense or  comprehensive assistance with their fiction,  I also offer individual instruction and mentoring.  If you are located outside of Los Angeles, or cannot attend a workshop in person, I can also work with you to improve your writing by phone, fax, email, or chat.

--------

Tales of Zorro, which was pushed back from Christmas, 2007 to February, 2008 is in final revisions.  This landmark anthology, the first collection of original Zorro short fiction in the eighty-five year history of the character, is scheduled for release in February, 2008.  To buy it, click on the link in the box below.  The book shows as "unavailable" through Amazon at the moment, but only because of the two and a half month production delay.  The book WILL be shipping in February.

I also highly recommend the limited signed states of the book, which come in two flavors: the slipcased, numbered hardcover, with all-new interior illustrations by Ruben Procopio exclusive to this edition, and a VERY rare 26-copy slipcased and lettered version, each of which features a bound-in ORIGINAL Zorro drawing by Ruben.

That's right.  To paraphrase George Carlin, let me say it again because I think it bears repeating:  there are ORIGINAL drawings bound into each book!

Best of all, each lettered copy is themed to that letter, i.e. the "Z" copy features an exclusive original artwork of Zorro, the "J" copy features a stunning depiction of Zorro's sword, Justine, and so forth.  Sales of these lettered editions are first-come, first-served, so get your copy today while they're still available!  With the thousands of Zorro fans out  there, it won't take long for the 26 copies to disappear into private collections forever.

With Ruben's original sketches valued in the hundreds of dollars by themselves, this is a great deal by any standard.  The limited editions can be purchased directly from Moonstone Books by clicking here.
